As far as I’m concerned, Dropping Gems is to Portland what Brainfeeder is to LA. Imaginative. Inventive. Entertaining. Their roster of skillful DJ’s is stacked. Each member’s artistic sound evolves constantly and genuinely, thus validating their existence as a whole. Their mission to make a mark in the scene is obvious to see, as they continue to set benchmarks for the DJ community with free events like the one coming up this Wednesday.
I’m excited to announce that I’ll be providing visuals for the entire event. I’ve got a bunch of new clips that no one has seen and some new VJ techniques that I can’t wait to try out.
